Terms and conditions

I don’t like small print. It gives the impression that there’s something to hide - which there usually is. However, as the result of living in an increasingly litigious society, I thought that it was best to say some obvious things about this web site, such as recommending that you don’t try to eat it or smoke it. It’s also a good opportunity for me to let you know my terms.

My terms

I will confirm my charges in writing before undertaking any work for you. These charges will include 'brainstorming', writing, editing, consulting, research, UK telephone calls and faxes (unless explicitly excluded). They also include travel to an initial briefing. An invoice will be submitted one week after submitting the first draft of copy. This invoice will be payable within 30 days. Any additional agreed expenses will be invoiced when the project is completed. (Standard policy for first projects with new clients is to receive 50 percent of all standard charges in advance).

All revisions must be requested within 30 days of receipt of copy. No charge is made for revisions unless the requested revisions are based on a change in the project that was made after the first draft of copy was submitted.

A late payment charge of 1.25% monthly is applied to all payments not received within 30 days of the invoice date.
